The Story

Turning a new beauty brand into a growth engine.

Overview

This was a newly launched private-label ecommerce brand operating in the beauty market across the UK and US. When the brand came to Exozi, it had no existing audience, no sales revenue, and no established content system.

Starting Point

The brand was at the beginning of its journey. There was no existing content library, no established social audience, and no sales revenue to build from. The business wanted to create a recognizable brand and eventually reach £100K in monthly sales, but the available budget was limited.

The Challenge

The main challenge was building demand without depending on expensive paid acquisition. The client had allocated $2,000 as a potential paid advertising budget, but the actual paid advertising spend during this growth period was $0. This meant the strategy had to focus on creating organic distribution and converting attention into product demand.

The Strategy

Building demand through organic distribution.

Because the available budget was limited, we shifted the initial growth strategy toward TikTok Shop and organic short-form content. The objective was to create a content-led acquisition system capable of generating attention, building audience demand, and directing that demand toward the ecommerce offer.

Growth System

  • TikTok Shop as an initial ecommerce growth channel
  • High-retention short-form content
  • Organic traffic generation
  • Content-led product discovery
  • Consistent social media publishing
  • Cross-platform content distribution
  • Audience growth and social media monetization

Execution

Content built to earn attention.

Content & Publishing

We started with approximately one short-form video per day and continuously refined the content strategy over the following 2–3 months. The focus was not simply on publishing more content. We worked around stronger hooks, retention-focused editing, product interest, short-form storytelling, platform-native creative, and consistent distribution.

Distribution

As the content system developed, the strategy expanded across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This allowed the brand to build a broader social media presence instead of relying on a single platform. The brand eventually built more than 150K social followers organically, alongside millions of organic views.

Monetization

Alongside audience growth, social media monetization was also set up across the relevant platforms. This created an additional revenue stream beyond ecommerce sales, generating approximately $15K in social media monetization revenue.

Results

From no audience to measurable demand.

Between 1 August and 3 September 2026, the ecommerce analytics showed £58,279.05 in GMV, 2,356 orders, 2,301 customers, and 2,865 items sold. These results were generated through the content-led organic growth strategy with zero paid advertising spend.

  • £58,279.05 in GMV
  • 2,356 orders
  • 2,301 customers
  • 2,865 items sold
  • 150K+ social followers
  • Millions of organic views
  • $15K in social media monetization revenue
  • $0 paid advertising spend

The Bigger Goal

43K+ views was a milestone not the finish line.

The £58K+ monthly GMV milestone was a major step toward the brand's broader objective of reaching £100K in monthly sales. The next stage is focused on increasing content output, strengthening the brand's social presence, and continuing to convert organic attention into ecommerce demand.

Key Takeaway

Build attention before you buy it.

The biggest change was not one viral video. It was the creation of a repeatable content-led growth system connecting content, attention, audience, product discovery, and ecommerce sales.
